Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is excited to announce the launch of a new, comprehensive fact sheet designed to help third sector organisations across Wales, particularly in the Vale of Glamorgan, understand and demonstrate their social value. 

GVS today highlighted the significant implications of the benefit system changes announced in Parliament on the 18th March. An information sheet produced by GVS outlines key changes, including stricter Personal Independence Payment (PIP) eligibility, the end of Work Capability Assessments, and reforms to Universal Credit and unemployment insurance. 

From April 2025, a small price increase has been implemented to reflect increasing operational costs. If your organisation would like a quote for printing and / or design work, please contact Mark Stillman at GVS.

This announcement precedes the retirement of long-serving Operational Manager, Clive Curtis, who will step down in April.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of its recent Big Volunteering Fayre. Held at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry, the event saw a fantastic turnout of eager individuals seeking to discover the rewarding world of volunteering.

CF61’s Community Garden in Llantwit Major has a brand new resident that's sure to turn heads! Nick Clark, one of the garden's dedicated volunteers, has created a stunning dragonfly sculpture for the Picnic Area.
