Glamorgan Voluntary Services Welcomes Kris Rees as New Operational Manager

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is set to undergo a smooth transition in its operational leadership, with the appointment of Kris Rees as the new Operational Manager, effective from March 1st. This announcement precedes the retirement of long-serving Operational Manager, Clive Curtis, who will step down in April.

Kris Rees brings a wealth of experience to the role, having dedicated the past decade to GVS in various capacities. His most recent focus on Governance and Funding Advice has equipped him with a deep understanding of the Third Sector intricacies and the specific needs of local organisations.

"We are delighted to welcome Kris into this key leadership role," stated Rachel Connor, CEO of Glamorgan Voluntary Services. "Kris has been an invaluable member of our team for many years, and his expertise in governance and funding, combined with his deep understanding of GVS, will be crucial as we continue to support the Third Sector in the Vale of Glamorgan. We are confident he will build on the excellent work of Clive Curtis and ensure a smooth transition. We wish Clive all the best in his well-deserved retirement and thank him for his years of dedicated work."

The transition period will see Kris Rees working closely with Clive Curtis, ensuring a seamless handover of responsibilities. This will maintain continuity in GVS's vital support for the local Third Sector.
