Jason Kearle’s first experience of smoking came at the age of 13 when he started taking a single cigarette out of his mother’s pack each day before school. “I remember it well. I didn’t like it in the beginning, but then you get into the habit of needing one - and that was from a really early age,” he recalled.

The next Health, Social Care and Wellbeing Network meeting will take place on Friday the 24th November, 10am – 12noon on TEAMS. The focus of this meeting will be the section 16 forum, formerly known as the Social Value forum. A Section 16 Forum is designed to accomplish two goals. One goal is to transform care to achieve greater wellbeing and sustainability. The second goal is to rebalance the care market to achieve greater diversity of service providers.
Glamorgan Voluntary Services is launching the Third Sector Small Grants Scheme - Community Action
The UK Government via the Shared Prosperity Fund administered by the Vale of Glamorgan Council has allocated funding to support third sector community action and volunteering in the Vale of Glamorgan.
ECO4 Scheme (Energy Company Obligation including ECO4 Flex)
ECO4 is the latest Energy Company Obligation scheme administered by OFGEM. The Vale of Glamorgan Council is working in partnership with Cardiff Capital Region and E.ON to support households in poorly insulated homes, making those households more energy efficient and helping lessen the impact of rising energy bills.
