A national survey is being carried out in Wales to hear from people with lupus about their experiences of care in NHS Wales and how it could be improved.

Bladder & Bowel UK hope to start a conversation so that those affected can find a sense of solidarity, reduce taboos, and share coping strategies.

Get some fresh air whilst volunteering

In celebration of British Science Week’s #SmashingStereotypes campaign, which profiles the diverse people and careers in science, we’ve spoken to colleagues about the stereotypes about working in science that they’d like to smash. Today, we’re bringing you Caoimhe’s story.

In a concerted effort to address health inequalities and enhance well-being across Wales, the "Shaping Places for Well-being in Wales" programme has been announced.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council would like to invite you to attend their Social Care Commissioners and Procurers in-person engagement workshop on the 9th April 2024, 9:30am-12:30pm. The workshop will be facilitated by Cwmpas and will provide an opportunity to explore how we can work together to transform the way services are commissioned and delivered. It will also be an opportunity to consider how we can better support the well-being of citizens and the sustainability of social care and support services.

Children who missed out on two doses of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine could soon receive them in school following concerns over the threat of measles across Cardiff and the Vale.

A poisons unit is a dedicated specialised area which is staffed to deal with the needs of patients over the age of 16 who have suspected poisoning. Poisoned patients often require psychological and social support as well as physical treatment.

A parliamentary event was held on Monday 4th March to celebrate the first anniversary of the formation of The National Independent Lifeboat Association (NILA), hosted by Founder and Honorary President Anthony Mangnall MP (Totnes & South Devon).

ProMo Cymru is thrilled to announce the launch of a ground-breaking Digital Service Design Programme – a six-month journey to empower and revolutionise the services of five third-sector organisations in Wales. 

Unpaid carers suffer poorer physical and mental health than non-carers and use healthcare services more than the rest of the population, so it is vital that unpaid carers are able to access support and advice, both for their own health and wellbeing and those they care for.

A pilot project encouraging staff in acute and emergency departments to refer smokers to quitting services is proving a huge success.
