A clinical triage team in the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust has helped safely prevent thousands of ambulance journeys to hospital, Health Minister Eluned Morgan has revealed.

CAVRA - The Civil Aid Voluntary Rescue Association provided assistance to The Dinas Powys Community Flood Group (DPCFG) on Monday 1st January 2024, following concerns about rapidly rising river levels in the area.

Over 40 local community organisations and charities will be teaming up with Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) to offer volunteering opportunities on Wednesday 24th January from 10am – 2pm at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry.

The Vale of Glamorgan Neighbourhood Watch Association held its Annual General Meeting in the Council Offices in Barry on October 16th. Graham Sillett from Barry was elected as Chair, Jane Wattleworth from Penarth was elected as Vice-Chair and Dr. David Ellis from Llantwit Major was elected as Treasurer.
