More free financial awareness training in Wales
Dangos, the free online financial awareness training project in Wales, has been renewed for a third year by Welsh Government. This year Dangos is extending from its basic and intermediate courses to offer more dedicated sessions:
- Support for children and young people
- Support for older people and those in need of care
The Knap Art Group - learn to draw and paint
The Knap Art Group has a mix of students from total beginners, to those who have enjoyed painting for a few years. We have a course structure that covers a range of topics to keep you inspired, although it is always flexible depending on each students need and abilities. We aim to create an uplifting atmosphere of learning focused on well- being and fun! All welcome.

As the cost-of-living crisis continues, GamCare’s mission to raise awareness of, and support those affected by gambling-related harm, is now more important than ever.
FREE Parenting Courses/ reducing parental conflict - virtual and face-to-face
These courses are all FREE of charge for Vale of Glamorgan professionals to attend and are a blend of face to face and virtual sessions. The courses have been commissioned by the Vale of Glamorgan Council as a part of the Welsh Government’s plan to strengthen Parenting, and reduce Parental Conflict.

AXA and BITC partner to support youth mental health
AXA and Business in the Community are partnering to deliver fully funded Youth Mental Health First Aid Champion training this Spring 2023. We know that the number of young people struggling with their mental health and wellbeing is higher now than ever before, with the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Cost-of-Living crisis having only exacerbated many of the triggers including poverty and inequality.
