Survey: Cost of living impact on fertility patients
Fertility Network UK is looking at the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on fertility patients and they will release the data during Fertility Week 30 Oct – 5 Nov 23. We know the current situation is affecting already struggling fertility patients and we feel it’s vital to find out more about this, so we can make sure patients are supported as much as possible.

Health Minister response to latest NHS Wales performance data – June and July 2023
Health and Social Services Minister Eluned Morgan said: It is encouraging to see progress on reducing some of the longest waits and the average waiting time for treatment in Wales is 19.1 weeks – 10 weeks less than the peak three years ago, and two and a half weeks shorter than a year ago.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council wants to talk to residents about what matters to them and about life in the Vale of Glamorgan. Let’s Talk About Life in the Vale is a new county-wide survey of residents that gives people living in the Vale of Glamorgan the chance to share their experiences of public services, their priorities for the future, and help the Council better understand how to get more people involved in local decision making.
Recycle your old toothbrush with our new recycling programme
We use our toothbrushes twice a day and when the time comes to replace them, most end up in landfill sites across the UK. At Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, we are working hard to reduce our environmental footprint and have launched a free toothbrush recycling scheme to make it easier to dispose of dental waste in an environmentally friendly way.
Extra support for people on waiting lists could prevent some of the 6,000 cancelled NHS treatments
Health Minister Eluned Morgan has launched a new policy to support people waiting for treatment, which will help prevent some of the 6,000 last-minute cancellations of treatment on the NHS in Wales. The 3Ps Waiting Well Policy will ensure that support and information is easily accessible to those who waiting for treatment.

Green Health Wales launches with new website and rebrand
An all-Wales network for professionals and organisations to make health and care services “climate smart” has had a significant rebrand. Green Health Wales, which launched its new website on Monday, August 21, wants to bring together like-minded people who recognise that the climate and ecological emergency is also a health emergency.
