Funding is still available for a youth volunteering project or activity in the Vale
The Youth Led Grants Panel are delighted to announce that applications are now open for 2021/22 youth led grant fund. The fund is a grant for youth volunteering projects and activities that take place in the Vale of Glamorgan. The Panel will be awarding grants of up to £450.

Local community groups and charities operating in the Vale of Glamorgan are encouraged to sign-up to Glamorgan Voluntary Services’ (GVS) membership to gain unrivalled and expert support. GVS supports over 700 organisations and membership is free for 90% of organisations.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services gets animated!
GVS launched its first animated information film for people thinking about volunteering. The film, available in both Welsh and English, sees the journey someone would take when they are thinking of volunteering in their community and what they can expect, along with a host of useful information on volunteering.

Llantwit Major Christmas Fair at CF61 again this year
Run by Llantwit Major Events Group, the fair promises to be bigger and longer than last year. The event will take place on Saturday 27th November from 10am to 6pm, it’s free admission and will include more stalls and fairground rides for smaller children, as well as a stage with entertainment promised all day
