Llantwit Major Christmas Fair at CF61 again this year

We are happy to announce that Llantwit Major Christmas Fair will be held at CF61 again this year. Run by Llantwit Major Events Group, the fair promises to be bigger and longer than last year. The event will take place on Saturday 27th November from 10am to 6pm, it’s free admission and will include more stalls and fairground rides for smaller children, as well as a stage with entertainment promised all day. The Fair will mostly be held outside, with more stalls inside the hall itself.

And of course, a certain red-suited favourite will be here all day to hear what the children of Llantwit want for Christmas. Event organisers promise that any child who wants to see Father Christmas will get to see him on the day, although you may need to wait at busier times of the day. There is no charge for this, but donations are welcome.

Byron Evans of Llantwit Major Events group says:

“We were so happy to be able to deliver a Christmas Fair for Llantwit amidst all of the restrictions last year, and a good number came out to support us and to enjoy the day. But this year we are able to go a bit bigger and better, adding an entertainment stage and inside as well as outside stalls.”

But while restrictions may have been relaxed a little compared to where we were last year, there will still be Covid-safety protocol in place, such as one-way systems, compulsory indoor mask wearing and frequent hand sanitising stations.
