GVS Launches FoodShare Pantry St Athan
Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is delighted to have launched an expansion of its existing FoodShare project in St Athan. The project, which already runs at the CF61 centre in Llantwit Major every Thursday, will now be running fortnightly at The Gathering Place in St Athan on Wednesdays.

The Compact is an agreement between the Vale of Glamorgan Council, and voluntary and community organisations (known as the Third Sector) operating in the Vale of Glamorgan. The deadline for completion of the survey has been extended until 15th December 2023.

GVS recently held its AGM in its newly renovated and beautifully restored St Paul’s Community Centre in Arcot Street, Penarth. St Pauls’ stained glass windows were the mesmerising attraction on the day. The Impact Report, produced in both English and Welsh is available to download.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is hosting The Big Volunteering Fayre on Wednesday 24th January 2024 at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry from 10am to 2.00pm. The annual Fayre is the biggest volunteering event in the Vale of Glamorgan. It’s the ideal opportunity for charities, community groups, projects and clubs to showcase their work and recruit volunteers. At the Fayre you will be able to talk first-hand to members of the public of all ages, who express an interest in volunteering.
GVS is welcoming its Member organisations to attend its AGM in style
Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is hosting an “in person” Annual General Meeting at its beautifully restored community building St Pauls in Penarth.
GVS member organisations have priority booking to attend the event on Wednesday, 25th October at 10.00am finishing by 12noon which is followed by a light buffet lunch.

GVS’ Design Service extends to pull-up banners, PVC banners, magazines, leaflets, event programmes and lots more! Most recent members’ projects have included designing a PVC banner, pull-up banners, posters and postcards.
