Alison Owens supports GVS’ Community buildings in Llantwit Major and Penarth

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) recently appointed a new and already valued member of its team to support its community work in Llantwit Major (CF61) and Penarth (St Pauls).  

“My name is Alison Owens and I am the newly appointed Community and Buildings Admin Assistant at GVS. In this role I will be overseeing bookings for all of GVS's community buildings, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. 

“With 17 years of experience in the Third Sector, I've dedicated my career to working with volunteers and supporting important causes. I'm proud to call Llantwit Major my home since 1980, and I'm deeply committed to our local community. 

“I am excited to have the opportunity to make a positive impact and contribute to the well-being of our community. I'm here to support your needs and help our community thrive.” 

GVS is both excited and grateful to appoint such a dedicated person as Alison to support the work we do within the local communities through our community buildings.
