Launch of Resilient Communities Grant Fund
Natural Resources Wales has launched their Resilient Communities Grant Funding
New micro-grants funding for community groups and organisations who are bringing people together
The grants, up to £250, currently supports the areas Ogi is working in to provide full fibre broadband and for the Vale of Glamorgan, it’s currently Rhoose, St Athan, Llantwit Major and Dinas Powys.

GVS in partnership with The Vale of Glamorgan Council invites you to a discussion about the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and what this means for the Vale of Glamorgan. As one of the key investment priorities is ‘Community and Place’ this would be a great opportunity to discuss how our voluntary sector in the Vale can utilise this fund to deliver some great outcomes over the next three years.
Welsh Government Community Facilities Programme grant
Grants are available at two levels; small grants of under £25,000 and larger grants of up to £250,000. Grants can be used to improve community facilities.
Sustainable Steps Wales: Action Grants
The National Lottery Community Fund is offering grants from £10,001 to £350,000 that address climate change in communities and help people live in a more sustainable way.
True Colours Trust: UK Small Grant Scheme
Grants of up to £10,000 available to support disabled children and children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Empowering local communities Grant
The Asda Foundation is committed to supporting local communities through grant giving with up to £1500 available.
The Banister Charitable Trust
Capital grants usually between £2,000 and £50,000 are available to UK registered charities that are working in the areas of conservation and the protection and improvement of the UK’s physical and natural environment.
The Community Ownership Fund – round 2
UK Government has just launched the second round of the Community Ownership Fund to help communities take ownership of local assets and amenities at risk of closure.
