Natural Resources Wales has launched their Resilient Communities Grant Funding

The grants, up to £250, currently supports the areas Ogi is working in to provide full fibre broadband and for the Vale of Glamorgan, it’s currently Rhoose, St Athan, Llantwit Major and Dinas Powys.

GVS in partnership with The Vale of Glamorgan Council invites you to a discussion about the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and what this means for the Vale of Glamorgan. As one of the key investment priorities is ‘Community and Place’ this would be a great opportunity to discuss how our voluntary sector in the Vale can utilise this fund to deliver some great outcomes over the next three years.

Grants are available at two levels; small grants of under £25,000 and larger grants of up to £250,000. Grants can be used to improve community facilities.

The National Lottery Community Fund is offering grants from £10,001 to £350,000 that address climate change in communities and help people live in a more sustainable way.

Grants of up to £10,000 available to support disabled children and children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

The Asda Foundation is committed to supporting local communities through grant giving with up to £1500 available.

Capital grants usually between £2,000 and £50,000 are available to UK registered charities that are working in the areas of conservation and the protection and improvement of the UK’s physical and natural environment.

UK Government has just launched the second round of the Community Ownership Fund to help communities take ownership of local assets and amenities at risk of closure.

Welsh Government and the National Lottery Heritage Fund are partnering to deliver The Woodland Investment Grant. It’s an element of the National Forest Initiative.

Newydd Housing Association has a small pot of funding available for voluntary and community groups based and working in the Barry area. Small grants, up to £750 can be considered.

Comic Relief has confirmed this new round of funding to support community led action bringing about positive, lasting social change throughout Wales.

The eighth round of the Landfill Disposal Tax Communities scheme is now accepting applications of grants between £5,000 – £49,999.

The Yapp Charitable Trust makes grants for running costs to help small charities sustain their existing work. Grants of up to £9,000 are available.

Volunteering Wales Grants is a scheme funded by the Welsh Government to promote and improve volunteering in Wales.

The Happiness Fund is available to enable and support projects which improve mental health and wellbeing, inclusion, learning and skills development in local communities.
