Funding opportunity for Barry Based Community Groups
Newydd Housing Association has a small pot of funding available for voluntary and community groups based and working in the Barry area. Small grants, up to £750 can be considered. It can be spent on anything from stationary to equipment to gardening to painting and most things in between as long as it has some sort of benefit to the people who use it and/or the community.
Examples of community projects that have been funded previously include the purchasing of a bench for community use, defibrillator, tree planting, refurbishment/painting of local community centre.
