Sue Dickson, local artist, raises over £1,100 for MND Association

Over the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of June at CF61 in Llantwit Major, local artist Sue Dickson had an exhibition and sale of her life’s art work. All proceeds were in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, a cause very close to the heart of the Dickson family. Hoddnant was open to the public between 11am and 3pm both days, with refreshments available for visitors.

We were thrilled to hear from Sue that the event was a huge success, with many visitors and sales. Between paintings sold and donations, Sue raised over £1,100 for the charity. What a triumph, and what a new and creative use of our rooms!

CF61 is a community resource, if you would like to hire space, please contact Llinos Thomas, e-mail: enquiries@cf61.wales
