The Moondance Foundation offers grants to organisations and causes that provide transformational changes in communities in Wales and beyond.

We offer unrestricted grants of up to £30,000 spread over one to three years.

Welsh sports clubs that have been affected by recent storm damage can apply for grants up to £5,000 to help them recover. 

The Welsh Government is currently consulting on a new statutory framework for youth work in Wales. The consultation period will run until 10 January 2025.

In the Spotlight this month is Oliver Cahill. Oliver is a Rehabilitation Engineer who focuses on designing and adapting mobility aids to improve patients' comfort, independence, and quality of life. He has been with the Artificial Limb & Appliance Service since graduating with a BSc in Rehabilitation Engineering from Swansea University in 2023.

In a UK first, Wales is to have a new process for reviews following a person’s death or abuse to help reduce family trauma, prevent similar cases and protect others in the future.

The process for making a complaint about NHS services will be made easier and simplified, Health Secretary Jeremy Miles today said.

People at risk of becoming seriously ill from flu and COVID-19 have a short window to protect themselves before the viruses are in wide circulation.

Following funding from a GVS small grant, we shall be piloting a support group for adults survivors of abuse in Barry. The pilot groups will enable individuals to share day to day experiences, learn and share coping mechanisms, and explore learnings in an informal environment.
