In The Spotlight - Oliver Cahill
In the Spotlight this month is Oliver Cahill. Oliver is a Rehabilitation Engineer who focuses on designing and adapting mobility aids to improve patients' comfort, independence, and quality of life. He has been with the Artificial Limb & Appliance Service since graduating with a BSc in Rehabilitation Engineering from Swansea University in 2023.

People in Wales need more opportunities to protect their mental wellbeing
If you’re young, female, in an ethnic minority, have a disability or are in poor health, you are more likely to report lower mental wellbeing. That is the finding of a survey of over 1200 people in Wales. The research commissioned by Public Health Wales, found that these things had more influence on mental wellbeing than people’s access to resources and opportunities.
