Volunteering Wales is free for anyone to use, and already used by hundreds of organisations to advertise their volunteering opportunities, and it couldn’t be simpler to register.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) supports community and charitable organisations operating in the Vale of Glamorgan and manages three buildings which have space available to rent. The buildings based in Llantwit Major are CF61 (hourly rental) or Illtud House (office space rental) and in Penarth we have St Pauls (hourly rental) with all spaces affordably priced.

Starting something new can be daunting. If you have an idea for a voluntary group or charity then Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is here to help make it a reality. Our dedicated Governance Officer is able to support with everything from choosing the right structure, writing a constitution, developing policies, registering a charity and much more.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) has superb office space available in its Llantwit Major base at Illtud House. The office space is 560 sq ft, costing £1,026 per month, £12,320 per annum.

Llantwit Major FoodShare Pantry, operated by Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS), and Slade Organic Farm teamed up during the May half term to offer a free Seed to Fork Workshop, and even the seemingly relentless drizzle couldn’t dampen spirits!

The new and improved Volunteering Wales website is a simple, effective and completely free way for organisations to recruit and manage volunteers.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) latest Spring editions of GVS’ e-Vista magazine and Sustainable Funding News are now available to download.

GVS’ Design Service extends to pull-up banners, PVC banners, magazines, leaflets, event programmes and lots more.  GVS’ Printing Service continues to efficiently meet the needs of its service users. From April 2024, GVS has introduced a small price increase to the service along with a minimum printing charge of £10.00 per print job.

GVS and the Vale of Glamorgan Council are involved in the development of a new networking group to promote and raise awareness of community activity taking place in Barry.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is pleased to be able to facilitate an in-person Canva session. Canva www.canva.com is a design tool that has thousands of ready to use templates at your fingertips enabling you to create quick, easy and effective social media graphics, posters, business cards, flyers, presentations and more!
