CF61 Gardening Project win Wales in Bloom award

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is thrilled to announce that our CF61 Gardening Project has received a Level 5 – Outstanding award from Wales in Bloom’s, “It’s Your Neighbourhood” category.  Not only did the project achieve the highest award but it is the first project to achieve a Level 5 – Outstanding award on their first attempt. 

The project received an inspection by the Chairman and Campaign Coordinator in July, who were extremely impressed with our community garden. Three of our volunteers attended this year's Wales in Bloom Award Ceremony in Abergavenny where the results were announced, and a certificate was received.

A massive congratulations goes to all our dedicated volunteers, who have worked so hard over the last few years to create an amazing space for the community to enjoy.
