CF61 Community Garden Takes Flight with Dragonfly Sculpture

CF61’s Community Garden in Llantwit Major has a brand new resident that's sure to turn heads! Nick Clark, one of the garden's dedicated volunteers, has created a stunning dragonfly sculpture for the Picnic Area.

Nick's artistic vision took flight using everyday objects destined for the scrapheap. Old kitchen sinks, drainage pipes, and even a curtain pole were transformed into a magnificent dragonfly. The sculpture is mounted on a flexible metal rod, creating the illusion of the dragonfly gracefully flying through the flower beds.

This unique addition is a testament not only to Nick's talent and creativity but also to the spirit of volunteering that flourishes at the CF61 Community Garden.
