Would You like to Volunteer?

Some people like to be asked the question - Would you like to volunteer?

You may well have thought about volunteering, but are not sure how to go about it.

Perhaps you really don’t know what activities are out there to get involved in.

There are hundreds of volunteering opportunities available across the Vale of Glamorgan. Whether you want to volunteer indoor or outdoor, there is plenty available for you. Whilst you are reading this, why not scroll through the volunteering opportunities that are being promoted? This will give you a taster of the types of activities that you can get involved in.

Organisations are looking for volunteers to help and they do not want all of your time! Some opportunities only ask for 1 hour per week, others may be a few hours or some a day per week, all negotiable with the organisation.

Whilst we are living within a cost of living crisis, I would like to say to you…..

Most of our recruiting organisations will reimburse a travel expense to volunteers; so you are not out of pocket.
