Windrush Day 2023 Funding

Following the successful distribution of the Welsh Governments’ Windrush Grant 2022, we are delighted to invite organisations to apply for Welsh Government's Grant for National Windrush Day 2023.

You can download the Windrush Grant guidance document and funding application form for Windrush @75 Grant 2023. This grant will enable successful applicants i.e. community groups across Wales to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Windrush Generations' arrival into the UK.

We are aware how short the timescales are for planning your Windrush@75 events across Wales, and as such, we are opening up the application process for funding, to support diverse ethnic minority led community events and activities scheduled between June 2023 - August 2023.

Groups and organisations may request between £100 and up to £3500, ideally. £5000 bids will be considered in exceptional circumstances for a single event.

Deadline for Submission of your completed application is Friday 9th of June 2023 11.55pm. Any applications received outside of this date and time will not be considered
