Volunteer Driver Mate

Volunteer Driver Mates aged 18+ are required to help within this Cardiff Bay based organisation.   A normal working day will consist of riding in a 7.5tonne box van, double man with a full time member of staff.

Delivering beds, mattresses, wardrobes, units, fridges and all kinds of furniture to residential properties across Cardiff.  On occasion there will be assembly involved, where you would be assisting the full time member of staff.

We have lost a couple Volunteers to employment now which is a happy situation; however, this is leaving us short and delivering to vulnerable people is an essential for us.

Time commitment: Negotiable with the organisation.
Training: Full training will be provided.
Expenses reimbursed: Out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
Selection procedure: Informal chat with a tour is the main procedure then fill in some forms after that, if everyone is happy to proceed.
