Volunteer and help older people in your community

Are you aged 18+ and a caring, compassionate person?  Then why not volunteer for us? There are a range of volunteering opportunities available across the Vale of Glamorgan including:

• Befriending Older People – telephone and face to face available

• Shopping for Older People – helping with the shopping and in some cases helping to put it away

• Driving – transporting older people to hospital appointments

Time commitment: Variable depending upon the opportunity, negotiable with the organisation
Expenses reimbursed: Travel expenses are reimbursed.
Training provided: Full training is provided.
Selection procedures: An informal discussion, application form completion, 2 references and a disclosure and barring check (cost met by organisation).
