Vale Baby Basics providing priceless support in the Vale of Glamorgan

I would like to share what Vale Baby Basics does within the local Community of the Vale of Glamorgan.

We are a volunteer led project and we work very closely with Health Visitors, Midwives and other Professional to provide a safe place for a new baby to sleep in by giving a new Mum who would otherwise struggle with the cost a Moses Basket.

The Moses Basket is filled with clothes for the new born baby, toiletries for both baby and Mum, nappies, sheets/blankets, a book, a toy and other items that we might have in stock. Alongside this we aim to provide other things that might help such as changing mats and bouncy chairs as well as prams and pushchairs if requested.

We can only do this with the help of lovely donations from the public and wonderful knitters who provide knitted and crochet blankets, cardigans and hats.

We regularly post requests for items we need via our Facebook page: valebabybasics and can be contacted through that or by phone.
