Embarking on social media on behalf of an organisation, without being fully equipped, could be both daunting and detrimental to your organisation’s image. Choosing the best social media platform and adopting both good practice and tone is essential.

This two hour session is useful for people who are thinking about using social media as a marketing tool to reach out and engage more people in your service(s). The session is also ideal for people who are already using social media for their organisation but have never benefitted from training.

The session will cover:

• What is social media?

• The Pro’s and the Con’s

• The do’s and don’ts

• Introduction to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

• Posting engaging content

• Social media etiquette

• Useful tools and resources
