GVS says Thank You to the Dedicated Volunteers in the Vale of Glamorgan

Volunteers’ Week 1st – 7th June is the biggest week in the volunteering calendar.  In its 39th year, it is a time to say thank you to volunteers for the fantastic contribution they make to volunteering.

It goes without saying that volunteers are the lifeblood of many organisations and groups and some may not exist without the commitment of volunteers

Hundreds of events, both online and in–person, will be taking place to celebrate Volunteers’ Week and the huge range of ways in which volunteers give their time. This year will be no different.

Activities will be happening across the country from volunteer recruitment events and open days to celebration and recognition events.

If you or your organisation benefits from a volunteer or volunteers, why not reward them with a certificate, perhaps a small tea party, or sharing success stories on social media, or just by saying a big Thank You?

If you represent an organisation, Volunteers’ Week material including logos and certificates can be downloaded from volunteersweek.org/get-involved/resources/

A volunteer certificate can also be downloaded here:
