Sports and Memory Café – starting 17th September 2024

This is a new fortnightly sports-related activity group for people living with dementia and their caregivers at Cardiff Rugby Club. Come along and enjoy fun activities and meet new friends. (Light refreshments included)

Alzheimer’s Society supported by staff at Cardiff Rugby Club will deliver physical activities (games, sport) and stimulation through reminiscence and storytelling.  There will be a range of activities including boccia, curling, bowling, shuffleboard, quizzes and games.  There will also be time for socialising and peer support while offering useful information and some light relief. .   Starting on Tuesday 17th September from 11.0am – 12.30pm - the Sports and Memory Café will be held on 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month for people living with dementia accompanied by caregivers who support them.
