Our first Activity Session in Sully!

Home Instead Cardiff has partnered with Re-Engage to run a variety of activity sessions for the over 75s across the Vale. This supports our mission to keep all older local residents happy, healthy and connected.

They are running from Sully IBC and Sports Club. 9 x ladies attended for the first session and they all enjoyed learning about and playing Cornhole. They became quite competitive in their teams and a lot of fun was had by all.

On lookers who were playing indoor bowls close by asked if they were established teams – a wonderful compliment to their quickly acquired new skills!

Refreshments were available before and after the games and this gave people a chance to chat and get to know one another. By the end of the session there were promises to meet up the following day at Sully U3A and for ad-hock coffee and chat visits to the Sully IBC venue between the activity sessions.

Our next session will be on Wednesday 6th October at 11.30am at the Sully Sports club for a Dilys Price Dance session facilitated by Rob Oyston of Rise Life. We can’t wait to see everyone again.
