Mentee applications open for cross-equalities mentoring programme Equal Power Equal Voice
The new “Equal Power Equal Voice” cross-equalities mentoring programme, is now open to application for mentees until the 26th September.
The programme aims to increase diversity of representation in public and political life in Wales. This innovative project is a partnership between Disability Wales, Ethnic Minorities & Youth Support Team (EYST), Stonewall Cymru and Women’s Equality Network (WEN) Wales and we have big ambitions to increase the numbers of Black, Asian, and ethnic minority people, women, LGBTQ+ people, and disabled people in decision making positions in Wales including elected positions in local and national government; appointments to public boards and health boards; and as trustees, school governors, and community activists.
