Noah’s Ark Charity needs volunteers for Santa’s Grotto

Christmas-cracking team of Santas and Elves needed to help the Noah's Ark Charity Santa's Grotto sparkle!

Noah’s Ark Charity are so excited to be bringing our award winning Santa’s Grotto back in person this year after two years of running our virtual grotto experience – we want to make this Christmas even more magical than ever!

We are thrilled to be back at Ikea this year with our grotto, Santa, elves and photo station. We are also very excited to be able to offer a photo-booth for our visitors and treat them to the chance to have Breakfast with Santa. We will also hold a special launch party and bring the extra sparkle with choir performances, glitter-stations and face painting.

  • We are going to need an army of elves! Each day we are open, we are looking for two Santa's and a minimum of 5 elves. Elf helpers will look after our visitors in the queue and collect their information, meet and greet families inside our beautifully decorated grotto and print and package photographs which guests are able to purchase when they visit. There will be gifts to organise and cheer to spread!

Our grotto will be open at Ikea Cardiff from Saturday 26th November – Friday 23rd December 2022.

Weekday opening hours – 1.00pm – 7.00pm

Saturday opening hours – 10.30am – 5.00pm

Sunday opening hours – 11.30am – 4.00pm

Friday 23rd December opening hours - 10am – 2pm

We are also hoping to hold a launch party on Saturday 26th November and a special Breakfast With Santa during the month.

We are able to arrange shifts for our volunteers and are looking to recruit two Santas for each day.

We are able to cover food and travel expenses for our volunteers and are pleased to be able to offer Time Credit rewards.

A chance to help Noah’s Ark bring the sparkle back to Christmas for some of the 73,000 families we support each year – we would love you to come and join our wonderful community!
