Launch of Loneliness and Isolation Grant Fund 2022

The Welsh Government Connected Communities Loneliness and Social Isolation Fund has allocated £12,000 in total, to build capability and sustainability of front line grass roots voluntary and community organisations that bring people together and help them build social connections.

The revenue-only fund is provided via the Welsh Government Connected Communities scheme and administered by Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) in liaison with the Vale of Glamorgan Council.

The Fund is open for applications from Friday, 21st of October 2022, with a deadline for submission of 12 noon on Friday, 18th November 2022.

This revenue-only Fund aims to support proposals which tackle loneliness and social isolation. The overall aim is to increase opportunities for people to connect, create cohesive and supportive communities and supporting connected communities.

Organisations can apply for a maximum of £2000.  There is no minimum amount.
