Llantwit Major Arts and Crafts Group meet at CF61

Llantwit Major Arts and Crafts Group is a friendly group of individuals with a diverse range of arts and crafts interests. The group meet in the main hall at CF61 in Llantwit on the first and third Thursday evening of each month, between 7:30 and 9:30pm.

This week, on Thursday the 3rd of February, the group are hosting their Membership Evening, and anyone is welcome to come and find out more about the group, with no obligation or fee for the evening.

The programme for the year includes workshops, demonstrations and speakers, as well as practical evenings, where everyone brings their own projects to get on with and share with other members. New for 2022, practical evenings will also include Optional Guided Demonstrations, where group members will demonstrate different skills, techniques or media, which individuals can engage with informally if they are interested.

The group offers the opportunity to meet artists and crafters with wide ranging skills and to connect with the local and wider art and craft scene through their Sketch newsletter, which is free to members. They also hold an annual weekend long exhibition at CF61, where members can exhibit their individual and group project.

Full membership costs £30 year, which includes access to the newsletter, Facebook group and the chance to exhibit in the annual exhibition. A visitor’s fee of £3 per evening is also available for anyone wanting to attend a particular session. You can also become a member of the group anytime throughout the year and the cost will be adjusted pro rata.
