What is the YMCA, Healthy Relationship Service?

The YMCA Healthy Relationship Service is a specialist and confidential Sexual Health and Relationship Service.
Providing targeted support to small groups of young people aged 11-18 in the Vale of Glamorgan in a range of different youth settings.

What support is offered by the YMCA, Healthy Relationship Service?

The following topics:

·        Contraception Awareness

·        Sexually Transmitted Infection Awareness

·        Sex and The Law

·        Identifying Positive Relationships

·        Consent

·        Sexual Risk Taking (Incl. Online Safety)

What is the C-Card Scheme?

The C-Card scheme is a confidential scheme offering free condoms and sexual health information and support to all young people aged 13-25 years. View a map of C-Card outlets in Cardiff and the Vale.

The C-Card Scheme aims to bring about a reduction in sexually transmitted infections, increase sexual health information and reduce pregnancy rates for young people.

Who can access the C-Card Scheme?

Young people aged between 13 and 25 years can access C-Card.

Young people aged between 13 and 18 living in the Vale of Glamorgan can access further 1-1 support by being referred into the YMCA Healthy Relationship Service by emailing SHOT@ymcacardiff.wales
