Vale of Glamorgan Council (VOG) Healthy Living Team are proudly working in partnership with Cardiff & Vale University Health Board, Sport Wales and a host of third sector organisations to improve physical activity and sport opportunities for residents aged 60+ focusing on communities of highest need across the Vale of Glamorgan. 

Three new projects are being launched, all have a specific focus on helping more people aged 60+ become and stay physically active. If any of the following are of interest, please get in touch. If you know of any individuals or organisations who may benefit from any of these projects, please forward this email to them.

-          Golden Pass – Do you deliver physical activity and sport provision for people aged 60+ in Barry? Would you like new people to join? We can fund 8 sessions of your activity for people with a Golden Pass from September. Please follow this link to express your interest. A hard copy of the form is also attached. Deadline – Friday 13th August

-          Golden Fund - £500 funding for your organisation/sports club to develop new physical activity and sport provision for people aged 60+ in the Vale of Glamorgan. Please follow this link for more information. Deadline – Tuesday 31st August

-          Golden Activators – We are searching for 10 volunteers aged 60+ who can help people get active across the Vale of Glamorgan. Please follow this link for more information. Deadline – Tuesday 31st August
