GVS’ Clive Curtis is due to retire after 25 years of superb service to the local Third Sector

“After 25 years of working with Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) preceded by a further 22 years in the Third and Public Sectors, I’ve decided to retire. However, I won’t be leaving immediately as there is some work to be done to recruit a new Operational Manager to GVS.   

“I will be retiring from GVS in April 2025.  This will give the organisation sufficient time to recruit and appoint a successor and also allow for a reasonable period of “handover” time.  

“It goes without saying that I have thoroughly enjoyed my many years with GVS.  It has been an honour and privilege to be part of an organisation that has gone from strength to strength.  It has been an honour and privilege to work with such a fantastic range of voluntary organisations, volunteers and others over the years. Most importantly, it has been an honour and privilege to have worked with such a dedicated, talented and passionate team of people who, in their own individual ways, have helped shaped GVS and the local Third Sector to be what they are today.   

“I now look forward to my retirement with enthusiasm, being able to fill my time by ticking things off my “bucket list”, and also take the opportunity to travel more.  

“I wish you all the very best and thank you for helping to make my time at GVS so enjoyable and fulfilling.”
