GVS celebrates a year of success at Annual General Meeting

GVS’ Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, October 25th, was a resounding success. The event was expertly chaired by GVS’ Graham Benfield OBE, while Rachel Connor, GVS’ Chief Executive Officer, guided attendees through a year of significant achievements.

Kanishka Narayan, Labour’s MP for the Vale of Glamorgan, the guest speaker, commended GVS and the broader local Third Sector for their invaluable contributions to the community.

The AGM concluded with a special tribute to Clive Curtis, GVS’ Operations Manager, who was honored for his remarkable 25 years of dedicated service.

Rachel Connor said:

“Clive has spent 25 years of service dedicated to the Third Sector and Vale of Glamorgan communities.  And throughout his tenure Clive has helped an enormous number of Voluntary groups and we have heard from many of them about the difference he has made.”
