Forest Bathing at Cwm Talwg Nature Reserve

FOREST BATHING will be held on the first  Sunday of each month at 10.30am at Cwm Talwg Local Nature Reserve. Meet at the entrance to the wood opposite the Cwm Talwg Pub, Severn Avenue Barry.

Forest bathing involves opening all the senses to nature in woods and forests, to feel the ground beneath our feet, the rough bark of ancient rees and softness of fresh leaves, to see the tracery of twigs against the sky, to listen to the birdsong and smell the damp earth.

Forest bathing helps us to be more aware that we are part of the natural world and has been shown to be good for our mental health. Come and connect with nature with the volunteers who look after the Local Nature Reserve on 1st August, 5th September or 2nd October.
