FoodShare Pantry gets a beautiful new makeover!

Our FoodShare Pantry at CF61 in Llantwit Major continues to grow and go from strength to strength.  July saw the completion of the room makeover with new external doors directly into the pantry, a clean lick of white paint throughout and a beautiful new wood floor.  We are constantly securing new suppliers and building amazing relationships with local businesses to ensure a high quality and consistent food supply, as well as working with other charities and organisations helping to supply us with food and hygiene products. 

FoodShare Coordinator Nic said, ‘It’s really exciting to see this project developing and growing.  We have an amazing team of volunteers who help to bring food to CF61, as well as the amazing team that serve our customers each week.  We’re constantly learning and improving but the feedback from our customers to date has been fantastic.  The project has also been really lucky the last few weeks to receive lots of amazing seasonal produce from local growers as well as our own GVS gardening project’.
