Fairoaks residents group delighted with garden rescue

Dinas residents group takes strides in the revamping of their community garden. A plea was put out for donations of materials and manpower to help resurrect the community garden after it suffered from the Covid19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns.

Thanks go out to Michael Bruno of Bruno timber for the superb planters he made and delivered. Thanks also to Charlene the community champion from Asda for her help in both suppling bedding plants and her labour. Councillor Stephen Griffiths for his help.  Emma and the boys and girls from LexisNexis Risk Solutions who provided the muscle to really make a difference to the garden.

We are still a long way off returning the garden to its award winning best but it`s a welcome start. We are still in need of soil, compost, shrubs, fishpond liner, seating and if possible artificial grass making the garden low maintenance. If you can help us then please contact Pat on email Patmcq1954@outlook.com  or Tel 07904953136.
