Dental Access Portal is now available in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan

There’s a new way to register your interest for a place at an NHS dentist in Cardiff and Vale.

The Dental Access Portal will provide a central platform for Health Boards to allocate places for routine dental treatment at NHS dental practices across Wales.

The new service has been designed and built by Digital Health and Care Wales and will be live in Cardiff and Vale from 23rd October 2024 and rolled out nationally later in the year.

If you had previously registered using Cardiff and Vale’s waiting list, there is no need to re-apply. Your details have already been moved across to the new platform and you will be contacted when a suitable space becomes available.

To find out more about the Dental Access Portal and to register your interest for an NHS dentist, please visit this webpage.
