Cyfle Cymru: Empowering Communities through Engagement and Support

Cyfle Cymru is a community-focused project dedicated to providing support, education, and engagement opportunities for individuals across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. We offer a range of activities, events, and training sessions designed to help participants build valuable skills, gain workplace qualifications, and contribute positively to their communities.

 Upcoming Summer Activities and Events

We have an exciting line-up of activities and events this summer, tailored to support personal growth and community involvement:

- 4th July 2pm-4pm: First Aid Training at the CAVDAS Building, St Andrews Place, Cardiff. Participants can complete a first aid course and receive a certificate.

- 5th July 2pm-4pm: First Aid Training at the CAVDAS Building, Holton Road, Barry. Similar to the Cardiff session, participants will earn a certificate upon completion. Each month, we will offer different courses to help participants build up their workplace qualifications.

- 5th July 11-1pm: National Pets Remembrance Day - Join us for a dog walk and volunteer day at Cardiff Dogs Home. Participants can volunteer to walk the dogs or help with gardening and general maintenance, honouring pets they have lost in the past.

- 11th July: The Big Recovery Walk up Pen-Yr-Fan. This event brings together all treatment services for a communal walk to celebrate recovery.

- Every Other Thursday: Volunteer Group at Cosmeston Lakes from 11am-1pm. Volunteers will assist with general maintenance of the medieval village.
