Care & Repair Cardiff and the Vale is looking for new Trustees

Are you passionate about enabling people to live independently in their own homes? If so, come and help us run our charity. 

About Us: 

Care & Repair Cardiff and the Vale is a registered Charity which exists to support older people living in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan to repair, adapt and maintain their homes to enable them to live as independently as possible with increased safety, security, warmth and comfort.  

About the Role: 

Our current Board of Trustees are looking to add additional Trustees to our existing team and in particular is seeking individuals with financial skills, experience or knowledge. This offers an exciting opportunity to play a major role in driving forward new ways of supporting older people in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan to live independently in their own homes. 

Previous board experience is not essential. Any training required to support the role can be provided. 

Meetings are currently held quarterly, in person in our offices in Cardiff. We are committed to removing barriers to being part of our team. Whilst the role is unpaid, we will reimburse out of pocket expenses such as travel costs.
