CF61 Gardening Project

The GVS gardening project at our Community Centre, CF61 in Llantwit Major has had lots of new additions over the last month. We have added a new bug castle and bug snail to our children’s area and added several raised vegetable beds which will provide fresh produce for our Foodshare. We are currently working on “The Mound” which will be a rockery area planted with heathers with lots of different colours. Work is also taking place with the addition of a sedum roof which will be a living roof on top of a small outbuilding. We recently added a children’s book exchange box which will allow children to choose a book and sit in our children’s area under a large tree. Non of this would be possible without a recent Health Charity grant and the wonderful work our amazing volunteers. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact cath@gvs.wales
