We want the support of unpaid carers, health and social care professionals, professional bodies and policy makers in health, social care or with an interest in unpaid carers. 

We’ll cover:

·         learning and challenges to date

·         our objectives fo 2023-25

A summary of our work to date will be circulated in advance of the meeting.

Carer Aware aims to transform recognition and support for unpaid carers in health and social care through co-productive approaches.

During 2022-23, our training reached more than 300 health and social care professionals, supporting them to be carer aware and to support unpaid carers to realise their rights under the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014.
