Be a friend to the older generation

With the dark nights drawing in, this means lots of older people will either not go out or be unable to go out.  Coupled with the pandemic, this is making our older generation further socially isolated.

Some people do not see anybody from one week to the next, all they have is their television or radio for company.

  • Are you able to spare 1 – 2 hours per week?

  • Would you like to befriend an older person, having a chat and a cuppa?

  • Are you able to befriend somebody in person or via telephone?

If the answer is yes, we would love to hear from you.
