Barry Amateur Radio Society at Millennium Centre Cardiff event Flatholm through the ages

The Barry Amateur Radio Society will be at the Millennium Centre Cardiff on the 28th of July. As part of a major visitor attraction there.

It is titled “Flatholm through the ages.”

B.A.R.S. will be featuring the latest “Software Defined Radio” and demonstrating  our remote activation of our radio in Sully from Cardiff. So we will have live radio from Cardiff to B.A.R.S. H/Q in Sully without the trouble of wires and cables or an Antenna at Cardiff.

A First for B.A.R.S. We will also be teaching children to send their names in Morse Code and awarding them a Certificate at the Millennium Centre.

Marconi could not have dreamed how his radio experiment of 1897 from Lavernock to Flatholm would be like in 2024.
