Workshop Invite: Cardiff and Vale Regional Outcomes Framework
The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board, which includes Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Councils, and third and independent sector representation, has agreed a set of key aims and objectives to improve the health and wellbeing of the population across the region. In addition, eight key 'outcomes' have been agreed by all partners.
This 'Regional Outcomes Framework (ROF)' is now being adapted into an interactive web page. The ROF can include data from any organisation which contributes to a person’s wellbeing in the region. The key purpose is so that we can see how we are improving the wellbeing and health of all of our people.
Please see the attached FAQ and Outcome Definitions documents for further details.
The Regional Partnership Board will be hosting a number of workshops with third sector organisations over the coming months. Our first workshop will be held online on the 15th July 10am-12pm with organisations providing services to adults aged 18+. The key purpose will be to collaboratively agree how best to include data from the third sector to show their role in meeting the health and wellbeing needs of people in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Workshop Objectives
Specifically, the workshop will aim to:
Raise awareness of the Regional Outcomes Framework with third sector partners providing services to adults aged 18+.
Communicate the benefits of a regional outcomes framework and discuss any initial queries or concerns.
Communicate how the Regional Outcomes Framework will work in practice.
Discuss what data is potentially available from third sector partners.
Share details of the next steps of the project.
Please register your attendance by emailing the Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board Team: hsc.integration@wales.nhs.uk. Note: places are limited to one registration per organisation.
Many thanks for your time. We look forward to working in partnership with you on this innovative and existing project.
