8 per cent had flu or flu-like symptoms
6 per cent had a stomach bug
5 per cent had a chest infection
64 per cent of people said that they would be more worried about catching coronavirus than Wales going back into lockdown. 36 per cent said that going back into lockdown would worry them more.
62 per cent said that they had left their home or garden every day in the last week. This was the highest proportion since the survey began in April 2020.
The latest Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) public engagement survey report from Public Health Wales covers the period of 13th – 19th September 2021, when 602 people were surveyed.
Every two weeks, Public Health Wales conducts interviews with hundreds of people aged 18 or over across Wales, to understand how Coronavirus and the measures being used to prevent its spread are affecting the physical, mental and social wellbeing of people in Wales.
The survey is part of a raft of measures implemented by Public Health Wales to support public health and wellbeing through Coronavirus.
