Wales and Africa Grant Scheme

The ongoing global effects on the COVID-19 outbreak are being felt differently worldwide. With the varying needs of partnerships in mind, the Wales and Africa Small Grants Scheme welcomes requests which meets the current need the communities you work with either through responding to the impact of the pandemic or resuming ‘business as usual’ activity.

Please ensure that you have read the guidance document on the WCVA website before beginning your request for funding.

Grants Available

Grant are available from £3,000 up to £15,000. If you have a request which falls outside of this grant range, please speak to a team member before completing your request for funding. You can contact WCVA at walesafricagrants@wcva.cymru.

This round will open 12 July, there will be a panel meeting two weeks after opening and then another a week after that. If you have a COVID related request which is urgent, this means you can submit it in time for the first panel meeting to review. Please review the timetable below. There is £115,000 available for this grant round.
