Volunteer Outdoors Helping to Walk and Clear

Join us on a Walk & Clear, a fantastic way to explore the countryside, keep fit and ensure that existing routes are useable all year round.  

We help to keep the footpaths of the Vale open and accessible to the residents and visitors.

We meet every Tuesday (16 to 20 Volunteers) at a site near to where the work needs to be done and then walk to the work area often an overgrown stile or a blocked footpath and carry out what maintenance is needed. (Usual start time 10.30am and work completion by 1.0pm).

Time commitment: Every Tuesday, 10:30 – 1pm.
Expenses reimbursed: Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Training provided: Full training is provided.
Selection procedures: An informal discussion, application form completion and 2 references.
